Transferring ownership of a district heating connection
The transfer of a district heating agreement typically becomes relevant when a property changes ownership. You can easily submit an ownership transfer notice online. Attach a copy of the property’s deed of sale or another transfer document that mentions the transfer of the district heating connection. As a district heating customer, you can conveniently track your energy consumption via the Vaasan Sähkö app or our Online service. The service provides energy usage data down to the hourly level.
You can also compare consumption trends to the situation a month or even a year ago.
By keeping an eye on your district heating usage at home or in your business, it becomes easier to plan and, if needed, reduce energy consumption.
Please note that after the activation of district heating, it may take about a week for the consumption data to appear in the monitoring services.

District Heating connection price
The price of a district heating connection for a detached or semi-detached house is €4,300, which includes the construction of district heating branch pipes for up to 40 meters.
For any additional distance beyond 40 meters, we charge €200 per meter.
The installation of the district heating system is handled by an HVAC professional. Installation costs, including the heat exchanger, are approximately €6,000.
