The price of district heating will rise starting from January 1, 2026

Starting January 1, 2026, the new energy fee for district heating will be €68.06/MWh. The increase to the current energy fee is €1.85/MWh (including VAT 25.5%) and is due to higher procurement and production costs of thermal energy, as well as rising general expenses.

This change will increase the average district heating bill by approximately 2.3% per year. The increase means about €2.8 more per month for a detached house. For a typical apartment building with 80 flats, the impact per apartment is approximately €1.2 per month.
