Which monthly plan is right for me?

You should select your monthly plan based on your electricity consumption. Below, you can see the consumption limits for each plan and our recommendations for different types of homes.

If your consumption exceeds the limit of your selected package, you will be charged 16,60 c/kWh for the excess consumption. 

Our monthly plan contracts are open-ended. You can start with the plan we recommend and switch later if needed once you have a better idea of your consumption. Our customers can easily monitor their electricity usage in our app. 

Who is a monthly plan suitable for?

A monthly plan is ideal if you don’t want to worry about electricity price fluctuations. The price remains the same every month, so you always know the amount of your electricity bill in advance. Our monthly plans are also open-ended, allowing you to switch plans or contracts whenever you like. 

A monthly plan is best suited for those with relatively stable electricity consumption throughout the year. For example, an apartment in a building with district heating is a great fit for a monthly plan, as the electricity usage remains steady year-round. However, in homes with electric heating, the electricity consumption varies with the weather, making a monthly plan less ideal. 

In terms of consumption limits, a monthly plan is best suited for apartments in apartment buildings and terraced houses. Unfortunately, it’s not the best choice for detached houses or larger terraced houses. However, we do offer other electricity contracts suitable for larger homes.

How do I know how much I consume?

Your electricity consumption is influenced by factors such as

  • Insulation quality

For example, using a sauna increases electricity consumption, which is why apartments with saunas should opt for a larger plan. Underfloor heating in the bathroom can also increase electricity consumption.

Frequently asked questions about the monthly plan

What do I pay if I start or cancel my monthly plan in the middle of a month?

If your monthly plan starts or ends mid-month, you will pay for the plan based on the number of days.

What happens if I use more electricity than my plan limit?

If you exceed your plan limit, you will be charged for excess consumption at 16,60 c/kWh.

Is my entire electricity bill always a fixed amount with a monthly plan?

Yes, your energy charge is the same every month if you don’t exceed your plan limit. Please note that the monthly plan covers only the energy charge. You will still pay for electricity transmission based on your consumption to your electricity distribution company.
